Thanks for all your notes. The listserver stuff seems to be working, but
given that computers are involved let's agree to say that it's in a state
of test for the moment.

Here's the updated set of rules/guidlines. If anything's clear or I've missed
something let me know!

Welcome to the brass band mailing list!

As the list is new the amount of traffic will be low
for now, so feel free to send a message of introduction
to the list.

Rules:

1) All articles to be relevant to followers of the banding scene.
2) Absolutely no flaming.
3) Articles for submission should be sent to brass-band@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
4) Signatures to be no more than 4 lines or include any graphics.
5) Any quotes should be at the top of responses and shouldn't be more than
   50% of the posting size.
6) For further information on the list, including information on how to
   unsubscribe and how to receive the list in digest format, send a mail to
   "listserver@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx" containing the word HELP in the body.

I also hope to add an archive service A.S.A.P so that you can get
hold of anything previously posted. I'll make an announcement when it's
available. Feel free to try by mailing arcserver@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx, but
you'll have to be patient!
