Salvos vs "standard" BB's

Am I right in understanding that one difference between a Salvation Army 
band and a "standard" one is that one has solo, first and second cornets, 
while the other has solo, second and third? Sounds like an accountant's 
distinction to me.

Whatever the distinction, let's hope that the SA keeps up the fine 
contributions it has made to BB's, in playing, composing, and publishing.
