My limited experience indicates that most Americans are far more comfortable with parts provided in treble for treble instruments and bass clef for bass instruments. The often-used convention of treble clef scores on one side of the page, bass clef scores on the other (along with Eb/F on opposite sides for the horns) as provided by some publishers (see, for instance the Salvation Army: American Brass Ensemble Series (USA), or the Chester Music: Just Brass series (GB)) takes care of everyone. We certainly prefer that format here in the Hudson Valley of New York State.
