Of course you are right Nigel, but call it ignorence or whatever, the 
baritones and/or euphoniums (there's the ignorance for ya') sit to my right 
in the band and I just like thier sound.
What I hear is (when the parts are being issued) "... 
baritone/euphonium's....." and they get thier music (as group). Now I 
conclude they divide it thereafter amongst themselves. Thanks for the 
enlighting words!
