Hello Bill,

Yes, NABBA is North American Brass Band Association -- a North American
point of contact organization for brass bands in the US and Canada.

The President is Ron Holz, of the Music Department of Asbury College
in Wilmore, Kentucky.  The Membership Secretary is Bert Wiley, who
lives in Cullowhee, NC (his number is (704) 293-9312).  There are
also 6 NABBA bands in your immediate area:

Brass Band of Columbus
Ohio Collegiate Brass
Heidelberg Brass Band

and three youth bands.

The first two are directed by Dr. Paul Droste, of Ohio State University.
He could also give you information about NABBA, and he is local to
you (he's probably in the telephone directory).

I could give you more info tomorrow -- let me know how much more
detail you want.
