Demon's mailing machines "post.demon.co.uk" and "gate.demon.co.uk" seem
to have been sitting on mails sent out by the mailing list. I don't know
how long this has been going on, I just noticed items for posting coming
in here, being despatched to demon then never being sent by demon to my
personal mail box "njh@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx" So for now I'm going to connect
to each of your machines directly to send the mailing list, and not use
demon as a forwarding service. This is a pain as it means I have to stay on-line
longer which increases my telephone bill, so you'll have to accept a few test
messages to keep polling to see when demon get it sorted out. Flames to
demon not to me please!

Here, I hope, are the missing postings. Presumably when the backlog is sorted
out on their machine, which I understand has run out of disc space, you
may well see a second copy. If you've posted something and it doesn't appear
below let me know and I'll repost.

Yes - I can!  Dyke came first, Fairey's were second and Y.B.S. came third.  
Shock result of the day - BNFL (1994 champions) came 18th.
