Yamaha Soprano cornets are quite acceptable as replacement
Shilkes. I wouldn't touch anything else though.

Ever tried the new Courtois soprano? They're at least as
good as the Yamaha, maybe even better ('easier' to play,
anyway!). It's just been released some two months ago. A
guy I know who play soprano in the International Staff
Band of the SA just switched from Schilke Eb Trumpet to Eb
Courtois Cornet and I really like the sound of it, however
my experiences with Courtois are not so very good. So it
surely wouldn`t my choice for a cornet or trumpet. I have
played for a copple of years on the sheepest model of
Yamaha Eb Cornet (some years back), and however it was a
simple cornet it played marvelous!
