Hi,

I am new to the list, so, as suggested here is an introduction. 

I play Eb tuba (sorry bass!) for the Llanelli Town Brass, my wife plays the 
cornet, my eldest son plays baritone, the next two boys have just started 
to learn the cornet and the youngest boy can get a note but is too young 
to start playing yet. In "real life" I am the Computer Manager of 
Dyfed-Powys Police (when I've got time).

Llanelli Town Brass is a very young band. My wife and I are founder 
members and helped set it up three years ago. We started competing 
about a year after our formation and have done fairly well since then. In 
our first year we finished in third place in section 4. This year, our second 
in brass-band competitions, we qualified for London and had a 
great weekend playing in the National Championships. The band was 
placed 10th in Section 4 playing Vizcya.
