Hello. I thought I'd just drop you aline to let you know about the 
Festival of Brass 1996 which starts this weekend in Manchester. 
Basically, there are two concerts on every sunday for the following 4 
weeks. The bands include Black Dyke, Williams Fairey, Britainia 
Building Society, B.N.F.L, Yorkshire Building Society, Grimethorpe 
Colliery, etc.. The bands will be playing new works as well as old 
ones. The concerts all take plafe in the B.B.C North building on 
Oxford Road, apart for the last one which is in the Town Hall in 
Manchester and features Black Dyke Mills playing Revalation ( what a 
brilliant piece of music ).

If anyone wants to go, tickets are avaliable from the B.B.C North and 
are FREE.
