I just happened to see a PBS re-broadcast of the 1992 UK Military Brass
Festival massed band performance, and I have a few questions for the local
experts:

1. Is this an annual event, when/where is it usually held, and are tickets
not impossible to get?

2. One of the regimental bands, I only caught their nickname "Silver
Streak" playing and marching at a very quick step seemed to have uniforms
that resembled 1930 - 1940's German uniforms. Can anybody tell me the
history of this unit?

I was able to see the Edinburgh Tattoo a few years ago, and I really
enjoyed the event. Now I think I have to see the massed bands in person !
