To all brassband-lovers around the world! Here are the results from the Norwegian BrassBand Championship held in Bergen, feb. 10th.: Top section: 1. Manger Musikklag 93,5 pts 2. Eikanger-Bjoersvik Musikklag 93 pts 3. Krohnengen BrassBand 91,5 pts 4. Ila BrassBand 90 pts 5. Tertnes Brass 89,5 pts 6. Stavanger BrassBand 88,5 pts 7. Sagvaag Musikklag 84,5 pts The test-piece was "Energy" by Robert Simpson! I play the principal cornet with Sagvaag Musikklag, and ended last in the top section, but this was our first attempt in the top section, so we really didn=B4t expect to win the contest (this yaer)! We sure had a hope to "survive", but we will just go on, and try harder in the years to come!!!!!!
