Re: G Bass Trombones





The G bass trombone was always written in bass clef.  What the posting 
reffers to is the ease of comparison with Eb treble clef (Eb on the bass 
stave is in the same place as C on the treble)  This is especially 
relevant in the old brass band literature, when the bass trombone was 
often written in unison with the Eb basses
