Hi All,

 I went to the Buxton contest on Sunday and here are the results....

Championship Section

1st Glossop Old - Prisms
2nd ?
3rd ?
4th Tintwistle Band - Spectrum
5th British Telecom - Paganni Variations

Second Section

1st Jayess '87 - Connatations - 187
2nd Berisfords - Un Vie de Matelot - 185
3rd Greenway Selectus - Kenilworth - 183
4th Riddings - Tam O'Shanters Ride - 182

Thid Section

1st Eatons Farnworth - 180
2nd Cottingham - 179
3rd Rivington & Adlington - 176
4th Eccles Borough - 175

Fourth Section 

1st Hazel Grove - Music for A Festival - 179
2nd Greenfield - 177
3rd St Johns Mossley - 175
4th Burbage - 173

 It was a good day in all, my Dads band - Hollingworth played Tam O'Shanters Ride in 
the Second Section and came 6th. He received an award from the North West Area 
Brass Band Association for 25 years outstanding service to brass bands so we were 
pretty chuffed about that!!

 I heard whilst at Buxton the results from the Europeans.........

1st Yorkshire Building Society
2nd Black Dyke Mills
3rd Manger 

 I don't know the points or anything else from the Europeans but I'm sure someone will 
mail the full details soon!!
