Tim,
I heard exactly the same rumor from my conductor (Sid Stewart) last week =
some time, I don't know if this came from the same source as you though.

I hope it is the case because I quite like the piece.

I will ask Sid where he found out from.

I've heard that the Championship section test piece for the 1997 area =
contests 
will be The Lowry Sketchbook by Philip Wilby.  Can anyone confirm this =
one way 
or the other?
