Mary,

I think just about everyone in Australia knows Ken McDonald,  A few
years ago he took our band for several months as a temporary conductor
while we were organising a new MD.  Even in that short he lifted us
considerably.  Its a pity he didn't take us on permamently but shortly
after that he returned to Hawthorn again and they proceeded to win the
next few Australian championships with him at the helm.
