Here are two bass trombone solos in the S.A. that aren't bad, and are 
enjoyable for band, soloist, and audience:

1) Stephen Bulla's Rhapsody for Bass Trombone and Band. This piece has 
a little bit of everything in it. I don't know if it is published, but 
I'm sure it is around.

2) Ty Watson's Vigilante. This piece was written by Ty (a euph player 
in the CSB (S.A.) for the former Bass Trombone player of the CSB. 
Another very enjoyable variation solo with some tricky counting by band 
and soloist. This is not published, but I could put you in touch with 
the composer.
