The 24th Buckinghamshire & District Brass Bands Association Contest took
place at the Civic Centre, Aylesbury on 1st December 1996.  There were 3
sections in all, two of which are recorded as results here (the Open Section
will hopefully be published tomorrow by Andy Wooler).


Section B (Adjudicator Bram Wiggins): Section 3/4 Nationals standard bands

1st -  BRADWELL SILVER   (92 points)
2nd - RUSHDEN TOWN       (91 points)
3rd  - RUSHDEN WINDMILL (90 poiints)

Best Instrument Section: ?????????


Section A (Adjudicator Frank Renton): Section 2/3 Nationals standard bands

1st  - FULWELL BRASS    (95 points)
2nd - HANWELL		(94 points)
3rd  - GENET GROUP (CHERTSEY)  (93 points)

Best Instrument Section: Trombones GENET GROUP (CHERTSEY)
Highest Placed 3rd Section Band: FULWELL BRASS
Highest Placed Assoc. Band: HEATH
