I would like to inform - especially those from the nordic countrys -
about some music that was played in 3 concerts before christmas, in
Copenhagen. 

The concerts was a part of Copenhagen 96 (cultural city of the year),
and the main part was a new composition of a 19 year old and very clever
organplayer, Frederik Magle. 

It was not a very difficult composition, maybe for the organ?, but it
sounds good and was an experience to play.

The main part of the composition is for brass band a choir (75-100), 3
soloist singers and a childchoir as well. In between the organ play
together with percussion ( only 1 needed ).

It is written as christmasmusic and it playes about 40-45 minutes.

We played it in 3 different churches, compleatly overcrowded every time.

The text is of couse danish, but there must be a way for doing this
composition also in Norway and Sweden. 

A recording was made of the 1th concert, so its possible to find out
what it is about. If somebody should be interested they can contact me
for the adress of the composer.
