I've heard that the test piece for the 1997 Grand Shield Contest (the qualifier 
for the British Open is to be 'Festive Overture' by Eric Ball.  Can anyone 
confirm this one way or the other?

Incidentally, the contest itself will take place at the Victoria Hall, Bolton on 
10th May 1997.
