Hi Simon,

Now that Christmas is out of the way, we are looking to start off 
a lesson/training band session at our bandroom.  Also, we would 
like to make some progress on the subject of getting any interested 
players/prospective players from your school to join the band/
training band so that they can loan instruments for use in your 
school band as well.

Perhaps we can fix a provisional starting date as Tuesday Jan 21st, 
at 7:00 pm.  Are there any problems with Tuesday - ie does it clash 
with any school rehearsals etc?  If not, it's the best evening for 
us, because it's the band rehearsal. The feeling from the band 
volunteers who come to help was that they prefer to arrive earlier 
on the rehearsal evening, rather than committing to a different 
evening.

Perhaps we could discuss this on the phone.  Lee Burns told me 
yesterday that he wants to speak to you about this, and he's tried 
to phone you several times but it's always engaged (sounds like 
you're working that modem hard :)  He says that you have his phone 
number, so I don't need to remind you of it.
