Hi from 'down under'. Fancy the Melbourne Staff Band coming tenth in your
list. Not too pleasing from us biased locals down here. Still we're glad to
see they are included. Certainly the band has progressed through a
rebuilding time after the retirement of our much loved Colin Woods.

The MSB is our premier band down here and have a huge influence throughout
the country. I heard the band numerous times last year (1996) they rank very
high among the best, although most of the other international bands we only
hear on recordings.

Best wishes
