Is there a Stolen Instrument List for brass instruments?  

I found one in http://www.icaen.uiowa.edu/~tariggs/stolen/ using the 
well-known Yahoo site (entertainment/music/instruments/Stolen Instrument 
List).  It seems not well-used, and USA oriented.

Maybe the brass band world should have its own list. It sounds as if 
this could be a useful service provided by someone on the list, or 
preferably on the web site of a well-known organisation.  One of the 
brass band mags, perhaps.

Just a simple text list would be best, nothing fancy.  So that anyone 
can do a simple text search with any variant of computer without the 
format getting in  the way.

It could then be circulated periodically on the mailing list as well. 

This is just the kind of thing that the Internet ought to be good for.
