RE: Cyberband

After some discussion at the band hall last night I am delighted to
invite the Cyberband to our band's venue for the forthcoming cybernetic
virtual acoustic event.

The Egham Band has a purpose-built rehearal hall and social club (with
comfortable bar) which we reckon would allow a good-size band (i.e. up
to about 40-50) to be housed. A bit less squashed than last year's
effort!

Egham is quite easy to get to - very close to the M25, Heathrow, and the
hall is 200m from the Egham Stagecoach Station, which is about 40 mins
from London Waterloo. More details about the band and how to get there

Like most bands, we do not have a dedicated ISDN line in the band hall
;-) but perhaps it would be possible to get one set up for the duration
- we do have a phone service. Can anyone help us with this issue? It
might be nice to get some better sound/video recording gear too, again,
can any Cyberbander help here?

Hi gang,

With the European being in London this year, maybe a few of us list
members
may
like to meet up again and have another cyberband broadcast.

OK, it worked to some degree last time, but I thought that if we were to
start
planning another one now, we could surely get a better place to meet in,
plus
better software and sound quality.  It would also be nice to meet
everyone
again - plus maybe a few more.

If anyone wants to help organise - maybe you know where we could meet,
or have
better technical knowlege than I with regard to software etc., please
let me
know.
