Just a question; Would the Woods band be competing in the Open section or
another (Honors or Championship) this year?

Also, in regards to the discussion on instruments; You have valid points.
The fact is though, if a majority of the brass band  community  wants to
define a brass band as having certain instruments and they wish to call it
a 'brass band', then they will do as such. 

Once there is a large movement to make a 'brass band' w/F Horns, the
'brass band' will then become a band w/F Horns instead of Eb Tenor horns.
Until then, there are brass choirs, which (to the best of my knowledge)
can compete in the NABBA Open Section.
