Yes. I played the Tenor Horn on my French Horn mouthpiece up
until I was about 17 or 18. I took my French Horn mouthpiece and Tenor
Horn to my local instrument repairer and he made a shank to fit one to
the other.

Simon - didn't David Horn play on a French Horn mouthpiece at Faireys
in the '80's?

There is an arrangement of Strauss 1 for Tenor Horn and Band. (I did the
finale on a BBC Radio 2 broadcast a couple of years ago.) I'm not sure
about Strauss 2 though. Has anyone come across one?

Les McCormack
Horn, Black Dyke
