Dear List Futher to the various discussions of late re. Alto cornets, tenor horn v french (& any other) horn, 3v & 4v euphoniums, baritones etc., you might be interested to know that the Horniman's Museum in Forest Hill (London SE23) has the most amazing collection and variety of not only brass instruments but just about any other contraption which has ever been invented to make music. It is really something else and well worth a visit if you're ever in London. What's more, admission is completely free and there is a lovely park next door with a bandstand on which bands (mainly brass I think) give concerts every Sunday during the summer months of July and August (3pm to 5pm). Just another contribution to a very interesting discussion thread ........ %-) Angela Tregaskes Bb Baritone Player The Crystal Palace Band & Cyberband I (1996) Angela Tregaskes angela@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx -- unsubscribe or receive the list in digest form, mail a message of 'help' to listserv@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
