Dear List

In response to the several "Good luck" postings made via this medium
recently, I thought it would be a good idea if all brass-band list members
attending the forthcoming Area contests could identify themselves to each
other by wearing a sticky label or badge saying something like "internet
brass banders are well-connected".  Perhaps the easiest thing would be for
everybody to provide their own badge (unless it can be promptly taken on
board by certain identified individuals to leave a list of pre-printed
labels for collection at a trade stand).

There (hopefully) will be such a service provided by myself at a trade stand
in St. George's Hall, Bradford this weekend (Saturday and Sunday).  Please
keep an eye out for these and take one and wear it with pride.

Good luck to all contending bands in each of the Regions who are out on the
contest platform anywhere this weekend.
