Brighton Evening Argus staff photographer, Jim Holden, has been awarded the
accolade of Entertainment Photographer of the Year at the recent British
Picture Editors Awards, held in London.
One of the pictures that won Jim this award was taken at last years SCABA
Spring contest, held at the Dome Theatre, Brighton and featured an arial
view of 2 bass players - one was from Patcham Silver, the other looks like
a Solent Concert Brass uniform.
Hopefully, we will be given permission to publish the photo in a
forthcoming edition of the SCABA newsletter, The Bugle (original name
huh!).
