SCABA Quartet/Ensemble Contest (fwd)

Broadwater School at Farncombe was the venue for the 104th Quartet &
Ensemble contest organised by the Southern Counties Amateur Bands
Association.
Due to the very high number of entries, 2 adjudicators were needed, Tony
Cresswell, an old friend of the Association and Peter Marnoch, making his
SCABA debut listened to 56 parties during the course of a very long day!
As it is now 104 years since the formation of SCABA, this event must be one
of the longest continuously running contests outside of the Nationals!
SCABA are grateful once more to Phil Parker Ltd. Who donated prize vouchers
to the junior & youth sections
