Asaka Wind Band had an ensemble concert at Asaka community center Hall in
Saitama Pref. in Japan, on 9th March.

Philip Harper , a former solo horn of Sun Life, working as an English
teacher in Japan, joined it as a soloist.
He played Variations on "Carnival of Venice" arranged by himself.
He arranged it for Solo horn , accompanied with one trumpet and four
saxophones.

We were surprised at his technique and much enjoyed it .
