Please permit me to 'plug' an event which I am helping to organise 
which may be of interest.

On Saturday 26 April the Yorkshire and Humberside Brass Band 
Association are holding a one-day workshop on the Ripon Campus of the 
University College of Ripon and York.

The principal tutor for the day's activities will be Alan Morrison, 
cornet soloist and Musical Director of the Sellers Engineering Band,
who will present a masterclass in the morning and direct rehearsals 
in the afternoon. The Workshop will conclude with a short informal 
concert.

The course is open to all brass players, 
irrespective of age or ability; they don't have to belong to a Yorks 
and Humberside member band.  We hope to attract lots of young 
players - please pass this information to any members of your band who 
might be interested. 

The cost for the day is stlg15.00 (or stlg10.00 for full time students or players
under 17 years) - this includes lunch and refreshments.
