In hindsight, that's perhaps a little harsh. I meant to put across the idea
that Fairey's were very poor compared with their usual standard. If they'd come
to the Midlands area and played the performance they gave on Sunday they would
have walked the contest and rightly so.
Hope I didn't offend too many players and give too many listeners the wrong
impression.
