Hello all.

My personal opinion of Coal River I have to say is not very high. General
consensus seems to be that it has a few nice moments to keep
us interested but on the whole it isn't a piece of music I would
listen to of my own free will. It is very difficult with some very nasty
intervals proving it to be a more than adequate "Test Piece". I am glad
not to be the adjudicator who has to listen to it for an entire
evening. I'll be interested to hear some other comments that may be
posted to the list.
