Great piece this, not easy either. The best performance i've heard of it was in a festival in Regent Hall just after Ball's death. The ISB played it as well as Sound out the Proclamation and it sounded great. I don't think that the tape is available any more but it was great. Norman Bearcroft also read out a letter from Harry Mortimer sharing his experiences of Eric Ball. Mortimer was too ill to attend the festival to deliver it personally.
