Australian National Championships

Hello all,
While we all eagerly await Phil Anderton's Web Page on the Australian
National Band Championships I'll just post the stage 'Championship'
points for the Open A grade Section.

A explanation for our non Australian List Members. The Hymn and Test
were performed on the Friday Afternoon/Evening and the Own Choice
and March were on Saturday Afternoon/Evening. All Bands must also
compete in a street March called the Parade of Bands, this is not
part of the Championship. The Hymn and March are scored out of 50 and
the Test and Own Choice are scored out of 200. The Championship is
awarded to the Band with the most number of points out of the
possible 500.
