I believe that was suppose to be the intention of the March this year,
however, I understand all the music was submited and apparently vetted by the
organisers and in all cases was accepted, but like Steve has pointed
out it still seems to be a very grey area.
I heard a number of suggestion over the weekend for the March, one
being you must choose one of the following, mmm don't really like
that one, another don't have it at all, sounds OK to me, we have
enough to play as it is. Another suggestion I heard was, get rid of
the March altogether, take the Hymn out of the Championship award,
and have an entertaiment item, get a seperate award for it, ie it
isn't scored in points, just a first place for the best entertainmant
.
