Can't really dissagree with Mark on this one it is a great piece to play and
to listen to.  For once it has a decent bass part as well.  But surely
differing styles is not our only criteria for rating a test piece.  There are
some dramatic, moving pieces that have little if any major style changes that
I would certainly rate as 1st class tests for bands.  I would suggest Lloyd's
'Diversions on a Bass Theme'  and Simpson's 'Volcano' fit this catagory
rather well.  Comments please if you feel inclined.
