Dear List, 
Pangbourne and District Silver Band have an engagement on Saturday 
afternoon (21/6/97) at Burchetts Green, near Maidenhead. 
Unfortunately, since this engagement was booked, many members of the 
band have booked holidays etc, and the band is down to half strength 
(no front-row cornets, and most of the principals are missing). If 
there are any players in the Reading area who aren't out with their 
own bands on Saturday afternoon who would like to help us out (with a 
suitable reciprocal arrangement, naturally!) then please get in 
touch!
Hope somebody out there will be able save our bacon!
