Polical correctness is the rump of socialistic excess.
Bandperson isn't even good sounding English.
Only a pathetic toffee nosed git (an English employee once
described this type of person to me and it
seems to fit this situation) needs this type of semantic lunacy.
Certain collective terms like the Biblical "Son of Man", Bandsman,
Chairman, should be left as they are. There is a difference between a
collective term and a gender identification.

A bandperson is some one who has been surgically or mentally altered to
have no gender. The expression "get a life" comes to mind.

One could safely use the wording "Musicians Entrance" or "Players Entrance"

as you have said as these collective terms are simple enough to be
understood by the faceless legions of political correctness.
