I just received the CD Canadian Chops by John Griffiths, tuba from
Regina, Canada. It has an all Canadian repertoire, much of it written
especially for John to perform next month at the International tuba euph
conference in Riva del Garda, Italy. A wide variety of musical
characters are represented from pretty traditional to pretty up to date.
All superbly played by John.
This should be in every tuba players collection. No, I've got that
wrong. This should be in every musician's collection.
