On another note, I am very interested to hear if anyone has any ideas on
what can be done to increase the participation in these events. We really
need to get more entries even though I still don't think it would matter
how many people were entered, Michelle would still win. (That was probably
the fastest "Storm" in Endeavour that I have ever heard). Too bad the
lights kept going out.

just to hand..
Michele Stewart (Bb Cornet - City of Holroyd) wins again at the 1997 NSW
Solo Competition - She won the Open Bb Cornet, Tom Gawn trophy (a biggy!),
and the Open Champion of Champions (playing Endeavour by Helen Johnson).
Has any body ever won the State solos and State C of C (both 2 yrs
running),
Ern Kellar and National Solo and National C of C all in succession? Check
your record books boys and let me know :)
