Hello fellow brass players,

Recently I've become interested in playing the cornet, and in fact now prefer
it to the trumpet. However, I am having trouble finding a brass band (the
sort which favors conical bore instruments, i.e. the English style) in my
area, which is near Atlanta, Georgia, U.S.A.

If anyone has any helpful hints on how I can find such a band, it would be
greatly appreciated. Are there any national groups or associations I could
consult (lists of brass bands)? Do they have addresses on the World Wide Web?
Any information would be very helpful!
