The instrument I have is quite old. It was made by W. Brown and Sons, London.
The tube is made in two pieces. The lead section slots into the bell section
and has quite a wide tuning window. It can be played easily in Ab (for band) or
A (for orchestra).

I find it fairly easy to reach the 6th harmonic (concert Eb above the treble
stave) on this horn. Not bad for a bass trombonist?

Adrian :-)
