  The Band Association of New South Wales will hold itsState Championships
in the Macquarie University Theatre in Sydney on the Weekend of the 6th of
September 1997.

  A-grade starts at about 2:00pm on Saturday - the Test Piece this year is
London Overture by Phillip Sparke. Bands will play a hymn beforehand. The
Own Choice Test should start around 4:30pm. The Championship Points will be
from Test and Own Choice performances only. In A-grade there will be 6
bands playing:

	Holroyd City Brass Band
	Sutherland Shire Brass Band
	Willoughby City Brass Band
	St. Marys District Brass Band
	Waratah-Mayfield Brass Band
	Warringah Concert Brass Band
