I play for a Championship band in the South East but we don't have the same illustrious background as Brighouse. Nevertheless I play to a high standard (IMHO) and sometimes wish I lived a little further North so that I could fulfil a few ambitions. Anyway, I'd be interested to hear of any new solos or band pieces you may have come across. Also what equipment do you use. I play a Schilke with a Bach 3c mp and this works quite well but find that G above the staff and higher are sharp and use alternative fingering to remedy this. I've heard the Kanstul Eb is good - have you tried one. Good luck at the open on Saturday - I'll be listening with renewed interest!! -- David Cooper Sop, KM Gillingham Band -- unsubscribe or receive the list in digest form, mail a message of 'help' to listserver@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
