Hello all,
     In case any of you saw Dangerfield on Friday night on BBC1 and were
wondering who the brass band was, it was us.  Standing outside for 5
hours on a cold January night for about 10 seconds of TV :)  Still, the
banners were visible, which should please the sponsor!

1997 is the 10th Anniversary year of Woolley Pritchard Sovereign Brass
(stars of BBC's Dangerfield!) and to celebrate this, we are holding a
10th Anniversary Concert at West Bromwich Town Hall on Saturday, 20th
September 1997.  The guest soloist at the concert will be the
internationally renowned cornet soloist, Phillip McCann.  The programme
will include a mixture of traditional and  modern brass band music,
including Capriccio Espagnol, Festive Overture, Navigation Inn March,
March from Pines of Rome, Riverdance and many more, as well as Mr.
McCann's chosen programme of traditional slow melodies.

West Bromwich is about 6 miles north of Birmingham, and is easily
accessible from the M5 and M6.  It would be good to see some of you
