Which reminds me of the letter which appeared some years ago in The Sydney
Morning Herald:

"I have a black disc, ten inches in diameter, covered with  many fine
grooves and  with a small hole in the middle.   Is this a record?"

It also reminds me of the argument I often have with Our Beloved Musical
Director, and that is the tradition of not going back to Da Capo after
playing the trio in a march.  I suspect that this arose because of the 3
minute restriction of 10 inch 78s.   Do I have any supporters?
