Realistic Playing in Films (was Brassed Off flugel solo)

This seems to be true of all instrument players depicted on screen.  The
occasional exception seems to be some pianists, such as Dudley Moore and
Oscar Levant (in American films).  But even piano playing is faked in most
films.  Incredibly, it is badly faked in the film, "The Piano!"
