What a top idea.  Would it have lots of smaller performance rooms for
solo and party events?  A tuner built into each stage in each room, with
a water tap and glass aswell.  A fire alarm on stage within reach of
the soloist/conductor could be useful when things go completely wrong.
There would have to be fairly extensive bar facilities of course, a
warming room where we can leave our horns after pulling them out of the
bottom of the bus where they have been travelling at minus5 degrees; an
instrument repair centre; toilets close to the stage entrance for those
last  minute nerves; and perhapes most importantly, a soft maniquin, the
apporoximate size and shape of a judge we can "air our views" at.    But
seriously this does sound like the goods for England.  It would'nt work
here in New Zealand with our contest being moved around each year, and
the concert work would not be there.  The concept however sounds
excellent.  Good luck.

P.S  could anyone let me know the results of the British Open?
