Re: Nationals..........

On Fri, 17 Oct 1997, Peter Younghusband wrote re. his previous Enquiry
viz. a viz whether "Isaiah 40" had been selected as a/the next Nationals
test piece:

Sorry Monkey we seem to be on different wavelengths at the moment. I
thought the rumour you had heard was about Sat.'s Nationals here in
London when of course the testpiece (with tunes apparently!) was "On
Alderley Edge". You were obviously talking about the Auusie(?)
Natinonals or at least a different contest ....... Whoops!!

BTW, I didn't make it in to the RAH to hear any performances on Sat. pm
but did pay the now customary visit to the Queens Mews pub and had a
drink with a few celeb. friends. They play with a band called Black Dyke
(& in the case of Nick Hudson, plays with YBS when he's nothing better to
do!)

One final point .......... my name is Angela (I cannot say it was was the
form I was christened with because I wasn't ....... but it is preferred
to any shorter versions anyone can come up with e.g. "ange" <teasing tone>)
